Sorry about that, the image is half way in a transition that is taking a lot longer than I initially expected... version 1.0 in the registry has all the dashboards but has some configuration issues that make it drop some data before writing it to Graphite... the latest code in the repo works nice but doesn't have the updated dashboards yet... I will eventually finish the upgrade and post about it, I'm just a bit short on time. Will keep you posted on that, thanks for trying it out!

i just had the issue that the image in the repository does not contain any dashboards apart from a random welcome graph and building it from source gave me the "akka" dashboards. I have not managed yet to see any data, but I guess this is my problem.

@justjoheinz can you please verify which image version are you running? I you run with :latest you should see the predefined dashboard.

@ivantopo Unfortunately I can't - I threw the image away. I am not a big docker connaiseur, so if there is an additional flag which needs to be run, it should be documented on the page?

Status: Image is up to date for kamon/grafana_graphite:latest, but I also see the grafana 'random walk' graph instead of the kamon dashboard.

When building the image from git, indeed it worked.

Hi, I am having the same issues. When running the provided docker image, I see the random walk graph instead of kamon.
I am trying to build the image from git now.

I have no idea (and that's a separate issue I'd say :) )

I wonder if this could happen if you don't have fuse on the host machine? But perhaps I shouldn't make wild guesses in public :)

hey guys, I finally realized what was the problem when pulling the image from the registry: I naively assumed that when pushing a new image to the registry it will automatically become the latest image and anyone pulling kamon/grafana_graphite was going to get it but I was wrong... it is necessary to explicitly tag the image as latest. We recently upgraded the image to grafana 1.9.1 and correctly published it to the registry and after a couple tests if definitely works nice.

Let us know if you have any problems down the road, regards!
