I get the same warning in my log with my single table inheritance models:
Creating scope :page. Overwriting existing method Brush.page. Creating scope :page. Overwriting existing method Pattern.page. Creating scope :page. Overwriting existing method Photo.page. Creating scope :page. Overwriting existing method Texture.page.
All of those are sub-classes to Asset. None of which define paginates_per in their models (actually none of my models do).

have same problem.
from kaminari.
I have the same symptom, but I don't think it is due to an association (I don't have a page model). That being said, I think that it and another gem are stepping on each others toes. I am listing my gems here incase someone wants to try to find the commonality.

Any progress on this?
Yes my model has a method called page
, but it's an instance method. Why does kaminari complain about instance methods?

I'm getting the same error when using ActiveAdmin which requires Kaminari while in my app I use will_paginate.
Is there a solution yet for this? I'm running version 0.13.0
from kaminari.
I just merged from a branch where we had just implemented will_paginate to a different branch and started getting tons of "Creating scope :page. Overwriting existing method PaymentTransaction.page." The PaymentTransaction sounds like it might be ActiveMerchant, which was already in the target branch. Any solution?
from kaminari.
The original problem on this issue has been solved on #48. Please move on to #162 to discuss the will_paginate problem.
