blazorshop's Issues

takes too long to open

Hi๏ผŒ

I like the web site and i'm trying to understand it. I know C# well but not asp.net.
I've deployed the website on my personal server, you can have a try:

http://leiyang.icu:5000/

it takes about 7 seconds(and even 1 min on mobile device) to open, during which we can only see the 'ajax-loader.gif'.

This exceeds my imagination of .net core and blazor.

Could you tell me what's going on during that loading time?

I can come up with a few possibilities:

  • my method of starting server(same as readme) is not optimized --- if so, any way to make it release version?
  • the database initializing --- if so, is there any way to skip the db initilizing temporialy, just let the user see homepage as soon as possible?
  • blazor itself needs the .net core runtime download --- is it true?

Do you have a web page that hosts this code(as a live demo)?

Thanks!

BlazorShop.Web.Client.deps.json does not exist

Please help on the below error .When creating the DB using the Update-Database 20201003195208_InitialCreate in VS 2019 powershell , I am getting the error as
BlazorShop.Web.Client.deps.json does not exist

Some kind of email functionality

Its use:

  • To send the order to the customer/or even invoice
  • to confirm email address (at registration)
  • to send some kind of updates to customer/new products

It can be Sendgrid email or Gmail based.

Cannot Start the Project

Hey,
i am getting a error message that something is wrong with my sql server.
I cloned the project using git and Visual Studio and both dont work.
I tried to stop initialiing the sql server but then the Project wont load at all ( just the blazor loading screen )

Here's the error message:

Getting started

I tried to follow the direction in the README.md, however, I get the following error when trying that.
image

I then loaded up the project in visual studio, set the BlazorShop.Web.Client to the startup project and booted up IIS and again got an error.
image
Which then outputted the following error.
image

I have .NET 5 SDK

Conversion ovverlow

I tried to migrate the project to .Net5.For this, I changed all packages and project targets to net5.0.

Context

Migration and database updating was successful.

Process

After running the application and error was happen in the ProductService.I found that it is happening in this line of code:

private Specification<Product> GetProductSpecification(
            ProductsSearchRequestModel model)
            => new ProductByNameSpecification(model.Query)
                .And(new ProductByPriceSpecification(model.MinPrice, model.MaxPrice))
                .And(new ProductByCategorySpecification(model.Category));

After that, I removed ProductByPriceSpecification, and works fine.

Expected result

Works with ProductByPriceSpecification
