The screenshots show gyoku pieces for most sets, but none of them have gyoku SVGs. Or maybe I'm just blind.

I just quadruple-checked and nope, no gyokus. I quintuple checked, turns out I've only been checking the "white" pieces, and the gyoku is "black".

Hello, first of all thank you for your beautiful sets! I hope to see more for chess variants in the future too.

I am having issues to use them though.

• I downloaded them from here
• Unzipped the zip archive
• placed them in /usr/share/games/xboard/themes (each set has a folder)
• In Xboard I am using Hachu 0.21 and shogi 9x9 (the only option available)
• In board options I put the right path to the folder for the set I wanted to use, click ok but nothing happens, restarting doesn't change anything.

Any idea?
Ps: do you know a good engine (possibily opensource) to play shogi and xiangqi which is not Hachu?

I am on Lubuntu 18.04 Xboard 4.9.1

Use a red star instead of the corporal insignia for promoted pieces. Also remove the colonel part of the Gold and make the star golden.
