I know this isn't a legitimate issue or report, but I just wanted to pass on my sincere appreciation and gratitude for having this tool available to the public. Ever since some of the development changes around Last.fm, I became a little worried about my scrobbles and the idea of losing that data was hard to think about.

When I discovered this tool, I was very excited as it provides a way for me to back up all of my data in Last.fm and also export it to another platform if the need were to arise. This tool helps grant me more power over my data and giving control back to the user, and for that, I am extremely appreciative.

I've been using the lastexport.py script for about a year now without problems. I tried exporting my data to Libre.fm in November or so (haven't tried since), and it worked then. Everything seems to be functioning well.

Thanks for creating this amazing tool, @kabniel. Just wanted to pass on my thanks to you for creating this project. I am sharing it with others whenever I can to help raise awareness for these scripts. 💯
