I get this error on startup:

I can start the app if the PDF related code in models/group.rb is commented out... it's looks good and seems like it would be usable but much of the functionality is broken.

Help?

Is it possible to extend the gem so that a list can be created of contacts/invitees linked to a new event? That is as and when a new Event is initiated, it should be possible to make/import/add a list of contacts for that event. This list will then be available as a group within the larger address book.

Also time this useful gem is upgraded to a Rails 5 version!
