An hourly planner that, with the use of jQuery and momentJS, has color coded timeblocks. Users can create an entry and save or delete them at the push of a button. This app is mobile friendly!

👋 Hey there, I'm Jonathan.

💭 About Me:

I'm an avid gamer with a relentless drive to improve my creative prowess. It was this passion for gaming and technology that set me on a course into the world of programming.

In 2020, I took a significant step forward by enrolling in UCLA's Coding Bootcamp. By 2021, I proudly finished the cohort specialized and armed with a solid foundation in Full Stack development.

Since then, I've remained unwavering in my commitment to self-improvement, continuously enhancing my skills through:

  • Self-Study (Personal Projects, freeCodeCamp, etc)
  • Seizing Freelancing Opportunities.

🎮 Gaming as a Foundation:

My gaming experiences have cultivated a distinct perspective on problem-solving; it's similar to tackling intricate puzzles in games like Portal. I'm confident that persistence yields the desired outcomes. This skill has integrated into my programming practices, for which I'm immensely grateful.

📈 I've got two ambitions:

  1. Software Developer: I aspire to be a professional software developer. The goal is to work for a forward-thinking company, working towards a more interactive and dynamic digital environment.

  2. Game Developer: I aspire to craft captivating video games that people can immerse themselves in and enjoy.

Miscellaneous CSS Updates

This will be the final CSS additions to the application.

  • Modal pop-up appearing at the center of the screen
  • Modal re-design for further customization
  • Center/Resize the hour text

Non-Visual Updates (CSS and Non-CSS Related)

  • Add comments to the CSS page
  • Remove/Add helpful comments to the JavaScript & HTML file

Miscellaneous Ideas

  • Remove window.alert and replace each pop-up with a modal
  • Add a 'Save All' button

Instructions Button & Modal

After reviewing live feedback, consider adding a modal that provides app directions. Similar to the README

CSS Additions

Things To Add

  • Add color change to button on hover
  • Add color change & animation to onclick for buttons
  • Consider resizing the 'delete all' button
  • Same btn changes apply

Add final CSS Touches

  • Consider changing the title style
  • Stylize and resize the 'All' buttons
  • Consider adding secondary buttons at the bottom of the page

Add Timeblocks

  • Use Bootstrap Grid To Create 9 Rows

  • Apply CSS elements

Apply moment.js

  • Add the date underneath the header

  • Grab CSS styles and use JavaScript to apply color-changes to Timeblocks

Mobile Design

  • Fix sizing for mobile screens
  • Consider making a modal pop-up that previews <textarea> data

Miscellaneous Features

  • Add a button to remove any text within all time blocks
  • Add a button to quickly remove text from individual time block
  • Consider background animation
  • Spruce up the styling
