Usability Study on the Canvas Mobile Application

Assignment 2 for Human Computer Interaction paper where we conducted a moderated usability study for the Canvas mobile application. We gathered 6 AUT students as participants.

How to view usability study?

Locally

  • Open index.html on your preferred browser.

Online

  • View our usabiltiy study online through Netlify.

Package Structure

  • assets — all images, illustrations, and icons.
  • css — custom css file or css files from downloaded libraries.
  • js
    • libs — js files for external libraries live here if any.
    • constants.js — All global constants.
    • on-scroll-create-component.js — Anything related to window scroll events live here such as creating new components on scroll.
    • report-data.js — injects the usability study paragraphs into their appropriate sections in the DOM so the HTML file won't be too long.
    • states.js — All global states.
    • theme-toggle.js — Handles the dark mode and light mode theme switching.
  • index.html — Entry point of the website.
