Heart emote shows like <3 instead of pink heart

I don't know what creates this issue. But some of the chat will persist when the disappear is set. In this example the timeout is set to 15 seconds

Sadly I'm not really sure how to reproduce it but it happens when I keep chat open. Happens on multiple browsers. I had an OBS browser source open and a chrome tab and the same messages persisted. Let me know if I can assist any further as I'm not sure how to help.

The overlay does not show the custom bit badges of the channels, only the default ones on Twitch are shown
