Previously, in older versions of the plugin, it was possible to display all hidden channels in a separate "hidden" category from the bottom, is it possible to implement this?

So when going to "View Server As Role" with this plugin on it crashes my discord, this does not happen on small servers.
you need to be in a big server with like 40-80+ roles & and 30-40+ channels.

this a problem for me as server admin as I use this feature from discord to check for issues.

When i install the plugin and navigate to large server with many hidden channels, i get dot, indicating what i have unread messages, in server list:

I can't mark it as read and it stays here forever (apparently).

Can we remove lock yellow icon ? and just have the lock grey icon on right ?

In the current version there is no visual distinction.
As with the original, unpermission channels should be distinguished by a padlock icon.

Not sure why as I'm following the instructions to the best of my knowledge but this never seems to want to load on my end. It'll say it's been loaded but nothing changes. I'll restart Discord and nothing changes. Should it be working properly now after the update or is it still being worked on?

When in a server with hidden channels it will show the indicator that there are unread channels either up or down, where ever the channel is, even if it is a channel that is hidden. The guild doesn't show unread if I switch which guild I have in focus and the channel doesn't look unread just looks like a hidden channel but after scrolling so the channel is off screen the unread notification comes up.

Also thank you for continuing this plugin after it was removed by the original author.

There is currently another group of people trying to fix this big issue.

They also have their own Discord and Subreddit dedicated to all of this (you can find it on opened issue there)
All I'm saying is if you could potentially team up with them and unite your efforts I think that'd be great.
If more similar projects arise I will try to notify you and them.

Seems like original ShowHiddenChannels works perfectly with VoiceActivities plugin. And currently this plugin does not:

For example, i can see, what person streaming, but i doesn't see voice activity icon.
It would be great if this were ever implemented.

Each visit your cursor takes above any hidden channel replies with a "Channel is hidden, not fetching messages"
So scrolling down an alley of hidden channels will overflow you.

Once you try to open a hidden channel, the unread mark will not disappear from the server icon.
If I try to right click on the server and press the button to mark it as read, it is blacked out and I cannot press it.
The only way to get rid of the unread mark is to restart the discord.

can you make sure you don't get into locked channels and do the effect as if a channel doesn't load (I mean when you click a channel it's like when you click a background with no properties) when you click one?

I decided to check out the Settings and try to Enable Debug Mode and the Hidden Channels disappears
I disable it and it still stay the same even restarting discord doesn't work

it only shows hidden text channels not the vocal ones?

Every time I try to add the plugin to the plugins folder via the instructions in the Readme, I'm getting Addon Errors: META was not found. I even tried manually installing Zeres plugin library to see if that would fix it, but it doesn't.

Well, the old SHC had some kind of connection with VoiceActivity, it showed if the person was on a call even if the call was private, could you do that? Or just from the VoiceActivity developer side?

will a future update allow us to read the channels? or is there a different plugin available for that

restore this functionality that existed in the original.

With the new Discord update, breaking majority of plugins across all client mods, will you be updating the plugin, or will this plugin become a relic of the past?

Reproduce steps:

1. Select Discord server with hidden channels.
2. Press reload (Ctrl + R)).
3. Now you can see on the selected server all hidden channels except selected aren't displaying

if a server has a hidden category with no channels in it, this plugin doesn't allow you to see it

The workaround for this bug is by muting the hidden channels, but that's not very ideal

After being granted access to some channels and categories that were previously hidden, the lock icon on them did not go away. They have persisted with disabling the lock icon in settings, disabling the plugin, restarting Discord, and uninstalling BetterDiscord.
