• X to delete a tag is too small to be noticed
  
• Can we make the tags look more uniform

On any dataset page I am able to see a button saying edit dataset which gives me access to edit the dataset description as well as delete files. Should this be available to everyone or only the person uploading the dataset.

When one downloads the file the file name and the file extensions are incorrect. For example: https://justicehub.in/dataset/india-justice-report-2020/resource/86c3b1ee-384b-4e53-8009-ad770d39ad18

PDF can't be seen on the hub and downloading the PDF download a file with "download" name and no extension.

• Also on reset password the validation error message is wrong

The icon is usually used to direct users for chatting but in our case we want user to report issues. Can we use a different icon?

For the question - Which time period does this data cover? The month field is optional, but January is getting saved as the default month for these reports:

1 - India Justice Report - 2019
2 - India Justice Report - 2020
3 - The First Information Report Data set from 2015 - 2019

We should also remove the deafult month from these uploads and only consider the Year field

There are white spaces between different categories

• For the question - Which time period does this data cover? , since the month is optional, we should not have January selected as the default month. It gives an impression that Jan will be selected by default
• Add date of publication as an optional field in the data relevancy section - This is missing currently
• Making section logos clickable - A user should be able to move sections by clicking on the section logos
• Show the link on the dialog box after dataset is created. Preview message - Dataset created successfully - View here
• The URL after closing the success pop up is - /message/success This might confuse users, can we point the URL to the homepage itself ?
• In the question - Who is the Primary Publisher or Author of the file(s)? we dont see the organisation detail input field when the org is selected. Ideally Author's Name and Individual should be replaced by org input fields - Org Name and Org email
• Not able to add publisher details in case of an organisation
• Change the dialog msg when saving as Draft - "Dataset saved as a draft - View here"

Tried uploading the Jobs for Justice dataset. Was not able to upload the dataset nor save it as a draft.

The year field does not have validation. One way to ensure this doesn't happen is to provide for a date selector on these fields.

I was searching for this dataset. Found no search results when I searched for Satar while while searching with Satarc, the search query worked as expected.

Couple of issues related to selecting and updating geographies:

1 - when we edit a dataset, the geography list is not updated in case we have selected certain geographies
2 - Not able to select Delhi as one of the geographies.

As the users page will only be visible to a registered user, we should direct such requests to the sign-up/login screen as we do when the user clicks on the contribute data link.

Expected action - Send a notification e-mail to [email protected] whenever:

1 - A new account is created on the JH
2 - A new dataset is uploaded
3 - A dataset is edited

• Inclde the link to go back to the dataset page from the file page. Check View All Files link on the prototype
• File preview (PDF or CSV) should be above the summary text
• Add date of release (which is the date of publication) on the page below the dataset title
• Change Uploaded on to Uploaded
• In case of multiple geographies there is an extra trailing comma at the end. Check here
• In case of multiple reference links, add one per line

Tried uploading these datasets:

• India Justice Report 2020 (Saved as Draft)
• India Justice Report 2019 (Saved as Draft)

Datasets didn't get submitted, so currently they're saved as drafts.

These are the steps for replicating the issue:

1. Search for DevDataLab in the search query
2. Click on sort by and select by Name (A-Z)
3. The search result disappeared.

Ideal behaviour should keep the selection as is and sort among them.

I put DevDataLab in the search query. Website shows that no data contributors were found despite identifying the right dataset.

Discussion thread

Currently the effective query takes the user to CKAN documentation page. Ideally it would make sense for it to redirect to something in resources section. This is most likely an enhancement and not a bug.

I just noticed that the licensing information has changed...earlier there used to be a simplified one line explanation to each license type which is changed now.
