Try creating some form of user experience,

• ng-clipboard button
• visual design, something non-white on the page
• tabs to switch between writing area and rendered area
• menu to change view from tabs to split view
• link somewhere to markdown cheatsheet
• menu that a word processor might have. (buttons to create elements)

at least for javascript, syntax highlighting is not working. highlight library already included via npm, so perhaps just include that file in index.html to fix?

You might want to add a link to the hosted node app so that people can easily try it out.
