A Concise Binary Object Representation (RFC 7049) serialization library in Julia

As far as I understand, in RFC 8949, only NEGATIVE numbers are serialized as Type1, but in this implementation, all signed numbers are serialized as type1.
I found this problem when I tried to convertb to Python by cbor2.
Hi there. Does this package support serializing functions and nested functions?
hex2num
and num2hex
are now deprecated (JuliaLang/julia#22088).
You currently use these functions, but as I mentioned in another issue (JuliaLang/julia#22031 (comment)), you would be much better off using reinterpret
anyway.
As described in https://discourse.julialang.org/t/ann-plans-for-removing-packages-that-do-not-yet-support-1-0-from-the-general-registry/ we are planning on removing packages that do not support 1.0 from the General registry. This package has been detected to not support 1.0 and is thus slated to be removed. The removal of packages from the registry will happen approximately a month after this issue is open.
To transition to the new Pkg system using Project.toml
, see https://github.com/JuliaRegistries/Registrator.jl#transitioning-from-require-to-projecttoml.
To then tag a new version of the package, see https://github.com/JuliaRegistries/Registrator.jl#via-the-github-app.
If you believe this package has erroneously been detected as not supporting 1.0 or have any other questions, don't hesitate to discuss it here or in the thread linked at the top of this post.
After JuliaLang/julia#19449, soon to be merged for Julia 0.6, you will no longer be able to access the raw bytes of a string via string.data
; instead, do Vector{UInt8}(string)
. This affects at least:

Gives a rather strange error
ERROR: Unsatisfiable requirements detected for package CBOR [7f3e1038]:
CBOR [7f3e1038] log:
├─possible versions are: 0.0.1-0.0.2 or uninstalled
├─restricted to versions * by an explicit requirement, leaving only versions 0.0.1-0.0.2
└─restricted by julia compatibility requirements to versions: uninstalled — no versions left
it looks like what used to be a bug in Pkg that I thought had been resolved.
Suspect this may have something to do with missing Project.toml
.
Any ideas?
