It would be useful if the app allowed to specify the amount of each item on the list. If someone maybe wants 10 eggs instead of 12 or 2 chocolate bars instead of just the one.

Firestore allows only 10 items in where IN queries.
This needs to be fixed or subscribing to more than 10 lists must be disabled with error message that tells the user to unsubscribe some lists before subbing a new one.

When a list item is selected, it would be good to see a strikethrough effect on the label, rather than removing it completely from the list. That way it would be easier to see which items are already picked up, and which are still missing.
