There is an error with this repository's Renovate configuration that needs to be fixed. As a precaution, Renovate will stop PRs until it is resolved.
Error type: Cannot find preset's package (github>whitesource/merge-confidence:beta)
Rather than being hard coded into source, these resources should be stamped into the MANIFEST.MF file during the build process and accessed at run-time from via the java.util.jar.Manifest class.

I have 4 components called (A, B, C, D), using these I am creating network my network is like this
A -> B -> C -> B. It executed this A-> B-> C but when C is trying to send a packet to B it is throwing this error ----- Could not deliver the packet to C -OUT. Can't we use the same component multiple times in a network?
The jar file contains MySQL because of ReadJDBC and WriteJDBC - we need to find a way to defer this, probably using ClassLoader
I'm using drawfbp-2.18.4 on Windows 10 and I find my self repeatedly losing my work because of pressing escape to many times.
If I load a diagram, make a change and then press escape I get the save changes dialog.
It has 3 options: Yes (the default), No and Cancel.
I can also dismiss the dialog by pressing escape or clicking the windows close 'x' button in the top right hand corner.
If I press the 'x' or press escape then it has the same effect as choosing 'No'. DrawFBP closes without saving my changes.
Personally I would expect it to have the same effect as choosing 'Cancel'. The dialog should close and return me to the main screen.

I recently realized there was a problem when substreams were being sent through a LoadBalance process: the components of the substream (open brackets, data IPs, and close bracket) could theoretically be sent to different output port array elements, resulting in the substream getting disassembled.
I have therefore modified LoadBalance to route all components of a substream to the same output port array element. This code is now on GitHub - I will be doing some testing, but I would appreciate it if anyone using substreams and LoadBalance, preferably with large data volumes could also check it out.

BTW before I go on, it should be stressed that this is in the context of "classical" FBP, as implemented by JavaFBP, C#FBP, CppFBP (and perhaps JSFBP). The mod to LoadBalance has only been actually implemented in JavaFBP so far, and in view of the problem I am going to describe, it seems I only did half the job anyway! I have no idea if NoFlo and similar FBP-like systems have an analogous problem.
Let us say that we have used the (modified) LoadBalance component to route whole substreams to the various output port elements of LoadBalance - the split streams will most likely have to be recombined at some point. Now we can't use something like a round robin merge to bring them back into one stream, as that would introduce the possibility of deadlocks. So we need some way of bringing them into a single input port - but the default "first come, first served" merge into one port would mix up the substreams, so I am proposing a new API call which allows a component to wait on any element of an input array port, and return the element number at which there is a data IP waiting. This function will suspend until an IP arrives at one of the array port elements.

just another wishlist idea fwiw: doing the tutorial the hardest things for me go back to java itself, expanding the javafbp jar so the core classes were found, generating the code in the proper directories matching the package names and getting my classpath right and compiling the code from the proper directory and then when running again making sure my classpath and directory was right so the class for the subnet was found correctly...
these are some of the reasons I was drawn to groovy (and rhino) some years back before embracing node.js and javascript - these "scripting" type languages just have fewer of those headaches - they're just more fun!!
So this idea is really these related ideas (whoops just realized I've blurred the lines here between drawfbp and javafbp but I guess that's part of the idea):
a. Could the code generation steps be eliminated or at least hidden? (note that e.g. groovy feels to the developer like an interpreter but it's actually generating and compiling class files without the developer even knowing)
b. for creating custom processes could support be added for at least one of the JVM based scripting languages (groovy, rhino javascript, jython/python, beanshell), ideally with a little editor integrated into drawfbp so people could enter/edit and run right there without any explicit code generation/compilation steps needed.
c. Maybe ideally this would use the multi-language support provided by GraalVM so that javafbp would become "polyglotfbp"!!

it seems this project hasnt been updated in a while. is it still being develop? is it because of lack of resources?
I wrote a custom component and forgot to call this.drop(packet). This threw a FlowError, but Component caught it and then threw ThreadDeath in my face. This destroys the useful exception and error message.
