epdfsync
========

epdfsync is a companion script that will be called by epdfview upon a
Ctrl-Button1Down. This script should call synctex, if you want to have a full
edit cycle for LaTEX.
Tested on:
    * Lubuntu 15.10 (LXDE)
    * Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (Unity)
    * FreeBSD 10.2 (Xfce)
        * ArchLinux on 2017/04/23 (Xfce)
SIGHUP

epdfview's Issues

Select text glitch

Hi, thank you for maintaining this.
There is a glitch with the text selection tool, as the selection is shorter then the pointer location.
And the more selected text the bigger offset becomes.

gtk+-2.24.32 - poppler-glib-0.80.0

How do I install epdfview?

Can you please add some lines in the README, how to install this from scatch on Linux?

I use Ubuntu 16.4.

How to build for gtk3?

In the readme it says this project was updated to make it possible to build for gtk3, but running ./configure sets it to build for gtk2.

Question: Release Date?

Hello,

The original dates back around 2011, and I see this fork you have here, but the confusion is that you've kept the same version number, of 0.1.8.

So if you've forked it and made changes you should of changed this to a newer version instead as 0.1.9, as example...

So is this still the original 0.1.8, or changes you've made to it and uploaded it to github?

integration with synctex

Hi folks,

one of the main things that would revitalise edpfview would be the possibility of running commands upon a Ctrl-right click (for example). This would open up the possibility integrating synctex and using epdfview for producing TeX documents. xpdf can do this with the "run()" command its customisation.
This is also present in a convoluted way in evince.
When I find time, I may want to try something, because this would be the boost epdfview needs. Will be working on GTK2, though,
