This is the Firestorm Forum project. We've just reached the "initial dogfooding" phase and you can view the first deployed version at http://firestorm-dogfood.herokuapp.com.

The design document is a good place to start reading if you're unfamiliar with the project.

This project was funded by a Kickstarter.

All of the patrons that made it possible are listed in the PATRONS file.

This is an umbrella app consisting of firestorm_data and firestorm_web.

At present, we're wrapping up the initial design phase. Having said that, here are the planned features and their status:

• Continuous Integration
  • We're using Semaphore CI for this
• Continuous Deployment
  • With releases, via distillery
  • For now, we've got Semaphore pushing to http://firestorm-dogfood.herokuapp.com after each successful build of master.
• OAuth
  • At present, we only support GitHub. We'll support a lot more services in the future, but until we're happy with the state of the rest of the dogfooding session we'll stick with GitHub.
• Email (first class!)
  • The goal here is to be a fantastic replacement for Google Groups

• Topics
  • Stickies
• Posts
• Personal Messaging
• Tags
• Search
• Slack Integration
• Plugin System
