This was caused by a blank transaction being saved in the account. Once I deleted the blank transaction, the account loaded as expected.

With blank you mean an empty description? Or no splits?

Empty as in no amounts at all, the only field filled out was date. This should not be possible, but that's beyond the scope of gnucash-web IMHO. Not sure how it happened, but I found the blank transaction and once I deleted it I was good
