Hi joshlvmh.
I tried to complie the source code on ARMv8 architecture but it failed. Can i get a pre-compiled binary copy of iqtree_arm from you?

I can't find instructions on how to build from source.

When I clone and do cd IQ-TREE; make I get:

❯ make              
make: /sto2/sw/tools/cmake/3.14.1/bin/cmake: No such file or directory
make: *** [cmake_check_build_system] Error 1

It looks like the make file contains a lot of hardcoded paths that are specific to your system.

Some instructions on how to build would be great.

I assume that this project was derived from IQ-TREE, which is licensed under GNU GPL. It makes me a bit confused that the derived work from a GPL'd work should remain the same license terms according to GNU GPL. Can you clarify this?

In my experience this works great, but the iqtree version used is a bit out of date. Are there any plans to port this to IQ-tree version 2?

The latest version as of the time of writing is 2.2.2.4
The latest version distributed in conda, however, is 2.2.2.3 (but I am sure it will be upgraded soon).
