On the front page of the site: When hovering over multiple featured animal names in quick succession, the image will be replaced with the last image loaded regardless of which name is currently under the cursor. This is especially apparent on a slow connection when the images are not cached. This issue occurs in all browsers.

It would be cool if we created an appropriate 404 page (error: file not found) for handling broken links and directing the user back to the home page. Typically sites put a little personality into their error pages, e.g. Stack Overflow [1]. Let's think of something cool.

Deb requested a wish list page with a list of items the farm currently needs. Eventually we may need to provide the capability to edit this list as well.

The wish list scaffolding page is located at /wishlist.html.

The following png lacks transparency in IE6:

This causes a small grey overlay on top of the featured animal image on the front page. Need a gif version for progressive enhancement and conditionals to load the appropriate image for different browsers.

We're using the * html css hack [1] to conditionally apply the tab.gif image in IE6 and tab.png in all other browsers. Eventually these hacks should be pulled out into an IE-specific stylesheet and conditionally included [2], e.g:

Featured images on the front page should be pre-loaded rather than lazy-loaded when a user hovers over a featured animal name. This would provide a faster user experience (rather than watching a loading bar for each featured image).

When loading the front page, occasionally the animal_info_text_bg div will have the wrong height and the text will overflow the transparent background as in the image below:

This seems to be occur when the browser's bottom (horizontal) scrollbar temporarily appears as the page is loading, causing the setFeaturedText function to calculate the wrong height for the background div.
