Attempting to run any command pertaining to the singularity container (i.e. singularity shell guppy_container, singularity exec guppy_container ls /, etc.) results in an error FATAL: exec [COMMAND PATH] failed: a shared library is likely missing in the image.

A fix for this appears to be possible by setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment path variable, or by configuring sudo ldconfig (from here). ldconfig is not an option because root access is required.

I am unsure if LD_LIBRARY_PATH pertains to singularity in this magnitude, and am unsure what it should be set to.
