The easiest solution is probably to automatically generate a copy folder on startup. If the user deletes the copy folder after the pack starts up, the mod should simply do nothing instead of crashing.

New to 1.14 modding, wading my way into modpack creation. Copypaste gives me this on startup, yet works fine. Any fix?

When copying in a file that's automatically generated by a mod, it doesn't do anything because the original file can't be overwritten, making this mod completely useless for editing world specific mod configs.

Edit: Feel free to close this, I'm stupid

I have a folder named copy inside of the config folder. For some reason, nothing in the config folder is being copied, and i'm not seeing anything about it in the log.

Did forge break it with an update?

Even though curse has this listed as 1.12.2 compatible, MC states that it is only for 1.10 when attempting to load.

I get a crash when I try to open a world or start a new world.

Edit: The error goes away after I create the config/copy folder manually.

Edit again: using copypaste-1.0.jar in 1.10.2
