Description

I don't feel like the About page shows enough information. It's very plain, and I don't think it's a very exciting page. I'd love to include more details, and a "uses" section. Ultimately, I want it to be a place where I can aggregate links so I can share them from one place.

Acceptance Criteria

• Build new About page design.
• Has a "uses" section showing my current setup.
• Has a place where I can expand to.
• Aggregates links to all my things.

It looks like it's just the standard horizontal rule.

Don't entirely know what I want to call it yet. But here's what I expect to be done:

• Tags or categories will appear on the Post card.
• You can assign multiple tags to a Post.
• You can click on a tag and it will link to a page with all posts under that tag.

Acceptance Criteria

• On the posts/ (writing) page, group posts by categories.
• On the posts/ page, have a tag or category picker at the top. For initial release, this could be a list of all tags and it will link directly to the page. For future releases, it would be nice to have a dropdown that would filter the page for you.

Because of the aspect ratio, the images are thinner than the 960px grid.

Increase the image width so it bleeds out of the grid and fills up more space.

Description

Tidbit section is where I can put short coding snippets, TIL posts, or "what is" type posts. These posts don't feel like they should be on the main writing page. But can be used as building blocks or references within the major blog posts.

Acceptance Criteria

• Tidbit menu item. Check if it fits on mobile.
• New design
• Tidbit page shows all the tidbits. Any post with tag #tidbit will show up here. This way we can keep all the writing in one place.
• Any post with tag #tidbit will not show up on the main page.

Click to expand would be nice for smaller images. Thinking something similar to figma e.g. https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040450413-Find-and-install-plugins

I'd love to improve lighthouse stats so they show up on the PR.
I also want to run a grammar check during CI as well.

Redesign the look of the Title section. It's very chunky and takes up a lot of space. I feel like I could fit more information on it.

Acceptance Criteria

• Handle subheadings (make them optional).
• Handle cover images - maybe as a background image with secondary colour opacity?
• Add date last updated.
• Requires Figma work
