Some suggestion on comments replying and installation instruction

After I check the Installation Instructions and follow all the instructions, I can run the server and it works very well, but there are some suggestions that I want to show. For replying to comments, I think that it should show the username of the user who replied that comments.

Blank tag problem in the main blog post.

Suggestion and experience on the product

Since I did use your product and looking to use this in the future, I have experienced a few issue on the product.

1. Cannot delete the blank tag.

in /blog/create-blog/post
The users cannot delete the blank tag when they are preparing to post (post page).

2. Styling(this is about the style, please think about this is only my suggestion.)

  1. Floating text on the blog type element. (I would be nice if you put the text to the middle of the blog)
    image

  2. It would be nice if the length of the display tag is the same as the length of the text.

3. The link in the job opportunities sent to the yellow error page (View original link button).

I like your cool popular tag show up, and the coloring while the mouse is on the post-topic and the green in the create post button. cheer up!

The like button doesn't work

I'm not sure if it's a bug or if you guys haven't finished this feature yet, but every time when I press the like button, I will get an HTML error message "DoesNotExist at /blog/like/PvVEFi".

The search bar doesn't work?

I try to create a 2 example post on your website when I use the search bar to find my interesting post by post's name. it's doesn't show any action and if I tried to search 2 times the first time the search bar will clear my text that I inputted but second time it's doesn't

Usability: a suggestion for sign up section, and comment part

I found that when I have to select my skill (I think it is, coz I didn't see the description), It only contains some language. What if I want to select other languages too? My suggestion is to make the part to be something like a tag, so I can create a new tag.

For the comment part,
I found it doesn't tell who reply the comment. I think it should. Or at least split the comment reply when another user replies on it.

case:

  1. I use account 'Zaga' to comment on the 'test' blog
  2. I use Zaga to reply to my comment. (with "345678io8uibgvjghcvb" and then "https://www.dek-com.co/blog/kCjFU1/")
  3. I logout and login to another account 'dd' and reply to the comment. (with "ffffffff")
Question? when me as 'Zaga' or the blog owner came back and see the reply, How can I know where 'dd''s comment begin?

Appearance: UI in index page and unknown use of . . . symbol in each post

Apparently, when I hover my mouse cursor on the blog post in index page, the box turns into darker shades of grey, so it is suggesting that I can click on it or something. But when I click at it, it doesn't redirect me to the blog post as I expected.

Instead, I have to click on the post name in order to proceed.

Suggestions

  • Either you remove the color changing of the box or make the box to be clickable.

And another confusing one is when I proceed in the post page and click the horizontal ellipsis ( . . . <- This symbol) it opens a small blank section, so I don't know what it supposed to do.

Account creation

  • Conduct sign up page.
  • Collect important information from user.
  • Create an account base on user information.

LIKE button doesn't work?

After I try to created the example post in your website, when I clicked the link button it's doesn't not show any action. I think you if your post has like button you need to show the number of total like for each post?

Some suggestions for replying to comments and installation instruction

The installation instruction work fine and really easy to use. It would be nice if you could tell us what I'm installing from requirements.txt.

For replying to comments, I would suggests that the user can see who is the owner of each reply for each comment.
Everything else is really good and user friendly.
