Welcome to my Amortization Calculator

An app that show the reduction of debt and display the payment breakdown of interest paid, principal paid and loan balance over the life of the loan.

About The Project

Amortization is the gradual reduction of a debt over a given period. My amortization calculator will amortize your debt and display your payment breakdown.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these steps, or view the project here: https://amortization-calculator.herokuapp.com/

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/johnshellabarger/phase-1-project.git
  2. Start the App
    npm or yarn start 

Usage

Landing Page

You will be greated with a screen to input your loan amount, interest rate, and number of years to payback the loan. Once you enter this information in and hit calculate, the charts and schedule will be populated with the corisponding information.
