Obsidian lists files in a sidebar with a collapsible folder structure.
Something like this is needed on the sidebar, potentially only showing pages in the same folder by default.
Add some sort of support for yaml
(natively supported by Obsidian) and toml
(as used by urbit.org) front matter.
Either separate out front matter and store separately when importing, discard unused parts, or keep in markdown body and access dynamically.
It would be nice to be easily able to go back to this beta release in the future to look in awe at the minimal version.
the UI should look nicer on phones
Users with %wiki installed should be able to view remote wikis (just public wikis for now) via their local app.
Remote wikis should be viewable even if their host does not have a clearweb domain.
Users running %wiki can create/edit pages in remote wikis, without accessing via clearweb address
Users can discover content on public remote wikis, using a gossip'd "global" index.
Host can disable global search results in their wiki.
Host can disable their wiki appearing in global search results.
Pages with headers should have an automatically generated table of contents at the top.
The table of contents should be collapsible.
make the markdown edit box larger
Format dates in the Revisions page and in the version disclaimer by the browser's locale.
The main page for each wiki is a plain list of all articles. Need to redesign this to something that looks nicer and doesn't list all pages.
Maybe display a special user-made .md page + dynamic index (maybe categories, featured pages, idk)
Users logged in via EAuth can create or edit pages in wikis they don't host (according to wiki access permissions)
Hosts should be able to override the default CSS for a wiki
Currently block quotes are rendered as if they were code blocks, but this is not appropriate.
Admin can set a custom logo for the wiki, which is displayed in the sidebar
Docs are currently written in udon so they are visible via the %docs
app.
It would be convenient if the changelog and user guide were also accessible on wikis themselves, displayed similarly to normal wiki pages.
This can probably be done by just parsing the udon as if it were plain markdown (minus the ;>
on the first line)
