HTML5, CSS3, Javascript ES6, and SASS was used to create this portfolio website.
This portfolio showcases my projects for 2021. I created a few web applications as well as designed and built websites using Figma and website builders for some clients.
My 2021 portfolio projects includes some of my favorite projects I worked on:
- A fullstack app that alerts you when its time to change your contacts
- A Pomodoro Timer to keep myself on track
- A sidemount calculator that uses Reactjs
- A word of the day app that uses a web scraper
- A website for a dive shop in San Francisco
- A website for a dive shop in Idaho Falls
While building this portfolio site, I jumped into learning SASS, and other tools like Font Awesome.
Building this portfolio site was a great way to understand the benefit to CMS-like builds. By using SASS and tools like Font Awesome, I can make quick and accurate changes to my website across multiple pages and code. This will be extremely helpful for when I start larger projects!
The build of this portfolio website also reinforced the importance of how one breaks down attributes for their HTML elements. Keeping similar elements with the same classes, helped when wanting to do mass changes to the site.
For 2022, I'd like to work on a bunch of more projects! I'm interested in learning more about three.js, react.js, CMS, as well as work on an open-source project.
