Multiple attempts have been made to document the API using APIBlueprint, but none have been completed.

It's been over a year since this code base has been touched, before doing any further development it should be inspected for technical debt, anti-patterns, and so on.

Some things that should be done, just off the top of my head:

• Docstrings added
• Type annotations
• Unwanted logging and print statements removed
• Remove any code related to Django templates

Some packages in the requirements directory are either out of date or no longer needed.

Instead of a monorepo, this repository should be refactored to serve one purpose: the RESTful API.

Use a tool such as CodeClimate to evaluate the general quality and maintainability of the codebase and to monitor test coverage.
