A lighweight chat client built with NodeJs

Just clone the repository, install dependencies, and run it!!

You can paste image links and they will be rendered.

NodeJS

1. Clone the repository
2. Install dependencies with: npm install
3. Run chat server with: node server.js
4. Login with user
5. Have fun!

Chat client has an automatic both that will listen to any of the following commands:

• #cookie : returns you a random message, just like a fortune cookie
• #timeleft: will let you know how much time is left before end of business
• #shout: will emit a message to all people on the channel
• @[nickname]: will send a notification to the specified user i.e. @admin
