How to Run:

  • To run using .py script file:

    • download the .py file and run it in whatever terminal you typically use

  • To run using .exe file:

    • download the .exe file and double click it, if opened corrently, it will open the terminal window

Recommendation:

  • create a file with the .exe or .py file in it, since it will ask where you want the .mp3 file to download to. Leaving this option blank will save it to whatever file the .exe or .py file is in.

Example:

  • navigate to your desired file using the terminal

using the .py script:

$ python youtube2mp3.py

Enter the URL of the video you want to download:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6120QOlsfU

Enter the destination (leave blank for current directory)

Sandstorm (Radio Edit) has been successfully downloaded.
