A community housing project for CLI tools too lazy to live independently
Tools in moarutils should conform to the UNIX philosophy of doing one thing well. Or in our case, kinda okay. We will reject your housing application if it:
• does too many things
• fails to do the dishes regularly
• is too good
trim: remove trailing and leading whitespace
journal: personal append only logger, with timestamps
Usage:
$ journal tired of bullshit shellcheck warnings
Result:
Logs "tired of bullshit shellcheck warnings" to JOURNAL (~/.journal by default) along with a timestamp.
no need to keep a long running vim session just for this purpose.
Like run-parts, but sources scripts in the current context instead of simply executing them in a subshell. Useful for say, breaking a bash script up into subscripts.
