I very often click to open the tvOS app and then click again to try to toggle the setting but the app isn't ready to respond to it yet so nothing happens. It's annoying because I then have to wait a second or two to reassure myself that nothing is happening before trying again.

Perhaps we could put an indicator of some sort on the screenshot screen before going to the background that would vanish when the app is ready (using the same API that Dropbox uses to obscure the last viewed content when you have access to the app protected by a passcode)? Or perhaps we could play a subtle sound when the app is fully loaded and ready for clicks?

I can't find an API by which the watchOS app can detect this situation:
