I see a person suggesting a dark or light background but then it gets kinda more complicated than I think you would like the site to be. I suggest a simple slider for dark background or light. Something very similar to this page has or something very simple to do this but with maybe a little darker color though.

I want to say thank you also. I have a question now. Like this color here #292f34. The tool says nine shades lighter is #3D464E but I have a friend that uses a tool in some application on Mac OS and he says the shade should be #3e474e so my question is there a reason and which one is correct. I use the tool for my UI design in Linux and it helps me tremendously. Many thanks. I think a good dark background would be #282828 or #303030

Allow for shorthand HEX (#f0f...) and RGB/RGBA for Input Color.

I would like to request input/output colors for the SassMe background. I use SassME all of the time for color comparison and it would be really useful to compare new colors against existing project background colors. This would remove the redundancy of 'adjust color, copy to sass, compile sass, adjust color, copy to sass, compile sass, etc...' until the right color combination is found.

A less desirable option would be to switch from a light theme to a dark theme. This would give somewhat of a better comparison when dealing with backgrounds that have darker hues.

SassMe is a daily part of my workflow, Thanks for creating it.

I would like to have this as an app in KDE so if this is possible please feel me in. Even if the output was in a terminal window that would be cool. I just don't want to have to open a browser every time I want to use it. I love the tool by the way and it has helped me in so many ways it is pitiful. Thanks so much for making this tool available to some of us less savy people.
