Welcome to the ALX HTML and CSS Projects repository! This repository contains a collection of HTML and CSS projects completed as part of the ALX Introduction to Software Engineering program. Each directory in this repository represents a different project, focusing on various aspects of web development, including basic and advanced HTML, CSS styling, and the use of CSS Flexbox.
As an 18-year-old Nigerian male with a passion for technology and a strong belief in the power of education and community, I have embarked on this journey to master frontend development, CSS, Flexbox, and more. My goal is to become a change agent in the tech industry in Africa, building innovative and thought-provoking web applications and products.
The following projects are included in this repository:
-
HTML, Basic: This project covers the basics of HTML, including creating valid HTML files, using headings, paragraphs, and images. It also introduces linking between webpages.
-
CSS, Basic: In this project, CSS styling is applied to HTML files, improving the visual appearance of webpages. It includes tasks related to styling, positioning, and responsive design.
-
Flexbox: The Flexbox project dives deeper into CSS Flexbox, a powerful layout model. Tasks involve creating flexible and responsive layouts, aligning elements, and enhancing the design of webpages.
-
HTML, Advanced: HTML structure for a homepage called "Smile School." The focus of this project was to create a semantically structured HTML layout for the webpage, based on the provided Figma design.
-
CSS, Advanced: Advanced styling for the "Smile School" website. The focus of this project was to apply CSS styling to the existing HTML structure, creating an appealing and responsive design based on the provided Figma design.
I would like to express my gratitude to ALX and the entire tech community for providing the resources and support needed to embark on this journey. Together, we can drive change and innovation in the African tech industry.
