A public transport declaration calculator. It is used to automatically filter out all relevant travelling segments when travelling with a general public transport card. It receives a PDF file as an input and generates a CSV file with the results as Local Date / Complete value.

About Pull/Merge Requests

NOTE: Although I am open to accept merge requests, I do have a few rules about that:

  1. The profile of who opened the PR must be open.
  2. I need to be able to identify the person who is making the PR either via photo, or because I know that person or because that person is known in a larger scale.
  3. The PR needs to be something meaningful to the project. Updates to Readme files are rarely that.

Javascript/NodeJS projects

For production projects we should keep the lock files when using NPM dependencies. However, managing yarn.lock or package-lock.json files is a lot of work for demo projects. For all of the demo projects, I have removed all lock files. This is explicitly made for all non-production projects that I have on GitHub. For the eventual production project, I will keep the lock files.

public-transport-declarer's Issues

JE-00005 Update all versions used in this project

Long time ago I started this project and due to unexpected circumstances I had to drop everything I was doind. Here is the time to restart but given that more than year has passed, Angular is not the same and Java is also not the same. Please update everything.

JE-BJE-00001 Start from scratch

This game had a great jump start with a log of experimental code. Unfortunately back then there the conditions weren't ripe to start this. Eventually a lot of the developed code is too complicated and needs to be revised and other code removed. For this story the mission is to:

  1. Remove all front end code
  2. Rearrange the back end code
  3. Create the persistence layer with Hibernate and an H2 Database (just handier for now)
  4. Create CRUD and Daos for the game according to design.
  5. Improve Readme.md
  6. Make use of Jupiter Unit tests and Google Truth assertions

DO NOT:

Implement the full game
Implement Front end
Migrate to gradle
