Use Minima for theme?

If we used Minima as a theme, it might give us a better idea of how a real site would look.

Of course, it would also introduce another variant.

Some way to specify which version of Jekyll to use

Now that we are including a Gemfile in the output site, it would be nice to specify the version of Jekyll to use for building the site. This way, we could test against (ie:) pull request branches as well as the master branch.

Perhaps we could check for some environment variable and, if it is non-null, use that in Gemfile instead of the gem "jekyll" line?

Use different date for each post

Should we decrement dates by a day?

Yes, that would be best, because a real site would have posts published on the same day and over multiple days.. So, if there's a performance sink somewhere, we need to be aware of it's existence..

I don't know if this can be (easily) done from Bash. Might be best to port this all over to a Rake task?
