Welcome to my Github playground πŸ•ΊπŸ»

My name is Jeco, and I am currently a graduate student majoring in Business Analytics at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. With a background in economics and accounting, I have spent three years in the tax accounting industry and am now transitioning into the entertainment sector πŸŽžοΈπŸ€.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have worked on various projects in market analysis (Airbnb, Streaming platforms), sports performance analysis (NBA, ATP), and financial modeling(Option pricing model). These experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set and a strong analytical foundation, which I am eager to apply in the dynamic world of entertainment.

Personal & Academic Projects I have worked on:

Projects

Academic Projects
Title Description Technologies
Streaming-Ecosystem-Analysis In this project, we focused on a television studio and the decision-making process for producing our next TV show. We conducted a market analysis to understand the content offerings on mainstream platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, and explored potential market opportunities. NBA-Power-Partnership-Analysis In this project, we want to learn and analyze why are certain basketball teams are successful. The 19-20 Lakers champion team with the power partnership duo, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, was used as an example. Link-to-presentation PythonCanva
Options-Pricing-with-ML-models Our goal in this project was to develop statistical and machine learning models to replicate the functionality of the traditional Black-Scholes option pricing formula, specifically for valuing European call options. Link-to-presentation PythonCanva
