Since we are not likely to have awesome animations we need some way to inform the player of what's going on in the game world. A text overlay on the top reporting what the characters are doing is probably the simplest approach.

This is the simplest way to have sane camera control that allows for a good user experience.

Should be able to command people to do time consuming actions:

-Eat
-Sleep

Let's show some basic stats. At this point the people can eat and sleep, so we'll just have fed and alertness stats. These should go down with time and go up when a character is doing an activity that improves them, ie. eating or sleeping respectively.

Save the current play session so that it can be loaded again. Needs to save:

-Walls, Floors, and Objects.
-Current Position of Characters

Characters should be able to take on a job. Nothing fancy for now, just gets them a daily wage.

This is essential.

Options:

Start a new game.
Load a game.
Quit.

Players should have a money variable used for building and buying things.

Time to populate the levels with characters!

First we need to load animated models who we can direct around the map with the mouse.

Create Walls
Paint Walls
Change Floor Tiles
Place Objects

For now a simple panel GUI will do. It needs to let us select a character from it.
