First thank you for this package.
To make it work, I had to

(setq company-quickhelp-use-propertized-text nil)

Information about this custom variable:

company-quickhelp-use-propertized-text is a variable defined in ‘company-quickhelp.el’.
Original value was t

Allow the text to have properties like color, font size, etc.

If this variable is set to t (the default) , an error comes when using the tty:

Error running timer ‘company-quickhelp--show’: (error "Window system frame should be used")

This could be fixed in your package or mentioned in the README

What does this package do? There's no motivation in the README. Also, why is it completely overriding company-quickhelp--show? Won't this eventually diverge from company-quickhelp ? If that's the case, why not just submit a PR to company-quickhelp to do what you want to do?

I am pinging you here to ask for a quick question about moving this package to company-mode org? This package is created due to the package company-quickhelp unwilling to support terminal mode. Now I rarely use this package and I think it would be great if this could live beside company-quickhelp under the same name/owner.
