This is not that big deal but it will save some time and give a peace of mind.
Now that I have awesome new "Toss All File"s feature and have bound to set of keys, I often use the ctrl+alt+shift+t to Toss current file or ctrl+alt+shift+a to Toss all opened files to designated locations.
I know this awesome extension works as expected when executed but I question myself if I had pressed the correct keys and if the command actually ran or not because there's no status or indicator whatsoever that this wonderful package that executed.
So, I keep going back to other mapped folders and manually check to see if one of files got copied over (because I can't afford to not have those files copied over).
Again, I know this package works but I don't trust myself that I had pressed the correct keys or don't trust if SublimeText has executed the command or not :)
It would be great if there's some sort of visual indicator that the Toss File or Toss All Files has been executed.
Suggestion: display "Toss File (or Toss All Files) has been executed" in status bar and have it go away after few seconds. If making it go away after few seconds is difficult than include sys timestamp with it so you know when it was executed.
Thanks!
Hi there,
It's been over 2 years since I requested 2 enhancement, which you provided.
TossFile is still one of my favorite sublime text plugin and I use it manage multiple projects that are using the same code base.
I was wondering if it's possible to add "exclusion_paths" in the setting so that all currently open files would get tossed based on "paths" setting UNLESS the file is located inside the "exclusion_paths" folders.
If it's easier, I can also work with "exclusion_files" setting where I can specify specific files that should never get tossed...
Thanks and hope all is well.
Cheers!
Hi there,
I was looking for a plugin that can quickly copy selective/open files from current project to a different locations by relative path and TossFile is the only one that came close to what I needed.
However, looks like your plugin can only copy one file at a time... could you please add option to copy all currently open files as well?
For example, I'm also using SFTP plugin and it has the ability to upload current file or all open files using a different shortcut keys.
Thank you so much for this wonderful plugin and I will use this to copy one file at at time but please do consider adding this nice feature to copy all open files as well.
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
