qvision-poll-it's Issues

Section not visible

I have Poll-it working locally, but when we tried to migrate it to another developer's machine or to our development server the Poll-It section does not show up in the back office. I installed the NuGet package in the project and we have tried also installing the package from the developer tab.

Since I started development the version on the Umbraco package list has been updated from 0.5.0 to 0.7.0. I tried manually installing the earlier version using the local install feature on the dev server since I don't want to risk braking working code on my local machine.

Can you point me in the direction of what might be preventing us from getting this installed correctly?

Poll-It section does not show up

Poll-It section does not show up in the back office. I installed the package inside umbraco > developer tab > packages
I tried to see if it's permissions but i don't see anything to add or change, i am the admin on the box and i also tried creating a user and don't see anything on that user.

kinda a newbie, so it''s might be something im doing, but i tried version 7.7 and 7.8 beta.

Document Type Template model reference

I'm fairly new to Umbraco and still wrapping my head around the way it wraps MVC and auto generates classes. I installed Poll-It, created a poll and added the picker to a document type. Now I am trying to write the view for that document type and I'm having trouble figuring out what I should expect back from the view model.

The only examples I see in your documentation are for a surface controller implementation. Do you have any examples using a standard template?
