ros_realsense

A ROS wrapper for Intel Realsense (TM) cameras using the librealsense library.

This package is being developed for the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision's team in the Amazon Picking Challenge. At this time, only a select set of image and pointcloud streams are available. A number of issues have been raised in order to implement additional functionality.

  • Note: currently this repository has only been tested on ROS Indigo on Ubuntu 14.04

Provide means for using librealsense presets

librealsense provides the means for change a number of camera parameters (exposure setting etc) and have set up some preset combinations. This should be available to users on launching the node. Another issue will be raised to set specific camera parameters.

Update README

Provide the necessary install instructions incl. dependencies
Specify what is and isn't currently implemented
Mention development for APC

Clean up CMakeLists

Significant amount of legacy code. Can probably also remove the need for customPCLconfig.cmake.
