Hello Jake, I don't know if it is possible, but please try to add support to Chromecast.

As you can see, when I am using Chrome browser the Video player shows the Chromecast button while playing FB Videos: http://i.imgur.com/U0ve1uE.png

But in Toffeed apk it doesn't show it: http://i.imgur.com/QVu7n1j.png

And I have tested it in Chrome browser and it really send the video to TV, so Chromecast really support FB Videos in FB mobile website.

This app is great. Besides the profile image, is it possible to add a users cover photo in the navigation drawer?

Also, might be nicer to show the "jump to top", etc items in drawer when you turn them on, instead of next time app opened. Lovely app!

This should be optional.

A proper popup image viewer would be nice for zooming and downloading.

Different themes would be nice for different lighting conditions, screen types, and user preference.

I found this app, this one and also this one on the Google Play Store. This guys just took your source code, most of them added some ads in it and put it on the Store, without warning this is free software or linking nor publishing the source code...

As you are the owner of the source code, feel free to open a request to google here to remove the false app from the Store, if it's your wish ;)

Don't forget to tell Google that:

• The app is licensed under MIT license and this guys are violating it;
• They are falsely claiming they made the app;
• Provide a link to this repo;
• Provide screenshots of your own app.

Implement a login to provide access to the Facebook API.

Coul you add localization to the app?,if you are kind to do it, I'll translate it to Spanish for free :-D

Include translators, code contributors, and dependencies.

The user cover photo loads after login but fails to load offer closing and reopening Toffeed.

App should also open fb.com URLs (including subdomains like apps.fb.com m.fb.com and touch.fb.com).
For exemple, this will allow Google search results to be opened in the app.

Since including the long press context menu, you can no longer long press to get the copy/paste long press context menu.

firstly congrats for developing this awesome application, I feel it is one of the best so far and it is good that it is open source, I have been monitoring the application data usage, that is one reason why I stopped using the official application it increase my data usage.

is it possible to introduce image full viewer, like what the official application does, where we can zoom in etc, also possible to stop GIF , one reason it also suck the data up :(

also opening your own profile result in full desktop size being open :(

Hello JakeLane, I am here to suggest you to change a few things about "Most recent" and "Top Stories" newsfeed.

1)The "Most Recent" button is not visible in the draw.
So we have to click on "Main Menu" button (that redirects to https://m.facebook.com/home.php?soft=bookmarks) and then search for "Most Recent" option in the FB webpage.

2)After it, if we want to see "Top Stories" Newsfeed again, we need to click on "News Feed" button in the draw.
But there is a problem:
It not opens "Top Stories" newsfeed, it continues opening "Most Recent" NewsFeed. As you can see in this print: http://i.imgur.com/8Cdngdi.png
So we need manually click in "Top Stories" option in NewsFeed: http://i.imgur.com/GOjIbHw.png

So after that, it opens "Top Stories" NewsFeed again: http://i.imgur.com/Eo660xe.png

My suggestion to solve all these annoying problems:

1. Add a "Most Recent" button in the draw: http://i.imgur.com/Um4r2F2.png But this button should not be visible as default.
   It should be in the draw, only if the user goes to "Settings" in the app and then activate it. Exactly as it happens with "Back button" in the settings.
   This "Most Recent" button should redirect to https://m.facebook.com/home.php?sk=h_chr

2. And now how to solve the second problem?
   It's simple. The "News Feed" button should redirect to https://m.facebook.com/home.php?sk=h_nor

Today this "News Feed" button redirects to https://m.facebook.com/home.php or https://m.facebook.com/ (I don't know which of the two you chose, but I'm sure it's one of these two).
But these two links don't force the FB page to open in "Most Recent" or "TopStories" mode. They simply obey a previous order.
So you can only force the FB webpage to open in "Most Recent" adding ?sk=h_chr in the link or open "Top Stories" adding ?sk=h_nor in the link.

sk=h_chr parameter sorts by most recent, sk=h_nor sorts by top.

As in other apps, would be nice to give a bit more room to News Feed.

I was hoping you could find a way to enable the saving of photos on the app straight to the phone.

I know that the user agent is dynamically, but the images are displayed in a little box when I want to see the details of the picture.

Hopefully Toffeed have function to share content directly by Android. For example, share via chrome.

( I means, the native Android share function , now we can't share content directly to Toffeed)

I think it would be great to show a snack bar when there are new news feed items. Unlike having this snackbar synchronized with notifications like messages, friends and notifications, maybe have it have it's on update interval. This would be key especially since by default the Facebook menu is hidden.

Scrolling is sometimes inconsistent (over scrolling, pull-to-refresh behaves strangely)

Facebook recently added support for desktop notifications. This possibly could be utilised to have a real notification service.

One of my pet peeves. Every Facebook client reloads the news feed when you return to the app, and you lose where you were. Please let us disable this behavior!

I love this wrapper. The only suggestion I would love done is if you can share a post to another person's timeline or group.

Clicking "View Full Size" should open the image in app, not be sent to the browser.

Please, continue playing a video on Facebook when the app is minimized.

Trying to save an image or share an image crashes the app unless the user grants permission to write or read storage in Marshmallow manually. As a suggestion to fix this crash I'd suggest add runtime permissions.

Navigating via the navigation drawer gets annoying, since you have to open in all the time to get to the different sections. Since Facebook bar is disabled, how about implementing one? Maybe using an API like YouTube has at the top for tabs.

Your app is the fastest one among all the wrappers and you have messenger working with spoofing the desktop site.

Hello JakeLane again, I really don't know if it is possible, because https://m.facebook.com/home.php website shows GIF in NewsFeed in a link to open it outside the FB Newsfeed.

Do you know any possibility to play GIF inside Newsfeed (likewise what happens in Facebook Android app) ?

It would be convenient to have a FAB to access the status editor.

Every time I fullscreen a video, it just goes blank and pressing back exits the app...

And would be nice to keep the buttons regular colour instead of blue, as in other apps!

Hello JakeLane, I suggest you to add an in-browser in the Toffed apk.

Maybe this browser should be powered by Android WebView, but it should be optional.

1)If the user wants to (continue) use another browser to open FB links (like Chrome, Firefox, ...), he can do it.
2)If the user wants an in-browser to open FB links, he can do it too.

*With the possibility to change for one or another option.
