This is a social media web application built using MERN stack. This application will allow the users to register and sign in with an additional feature of resetting password and logging in through Gmail account. Through this social network application, users will be able to create, update and delete posts and can also view, follow and unfollow other users’ profile. Every user will also be able to like and comment other user’s posts

We have used following technologies to make a fully custom application:

• Node.js
• REACT JS
• MongoDB
• Bootstrap 4.5 , HTML 5 and CSS

1. Download Node js using https://nodejs.org/en/download/
2. Clone the repo in your code editor.
3. Run the command npm install to install all the dependencies of the project.
4. Use npm run dev to run the backend server on port 8001.
5. Use npm start to run the frontend server on port 3000.
