we're building up tons of junk memory when running the shader rendering process. most likely the viewport scenes or images/textures aren't being freed

some off by one error in putting stuff near the end of the stack

shouldn't be recognizable as 'oh its a godot app'

MVP can be a popup before the File Dialog with some commonly used paths and options
best case would be these options as part of a larger custom file dialog

4-corner independent brightness/contrast adjustment to help make images more seamless

pig skin example, bottom and right are darker and make obvious seams, would be nice to tweak these directionally
