Feature Ideas

A list of new features/modes I need to add:

  1. Ability to recover from infection and be able to tune Recovery Time.
  2. Pause/Resume/Restart the simulation.
  3. Add live graphs for Infected, Recovered and Deceased (Will use d3.js for that)
  4. Add Social Distancing Mode, where one can restrict a percentage of population to remain stationary.

A list of more features which I thought would be cool to have:

  1. Ability to have user-defined spawn location for infected people.
  2. Colonies.
  3. Save and Export the simulation as a GIF.
  4. Set the simulation parameters similar to a country.
  5. Infection Probability:
    • Different types of masks (N95, Surgical, Cloth) have different levels of protection against the infection.
    • Visualise how fast is the spread by choosing which type of mask to apply for the whole population.
    • Also Add an Infection Probability parameter.
