Basic Calculator with CPP WASM, Express, and Vite

This project implements a basic calculator using C++ for WebAssembly (WASM), Express.js for the backend, and Vite with TypeScript for the frontend.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

  • Node.js and npm installed on your machine.

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/basic-calculator.git
  2. Install NPM packages
    cd basic-calculator
    npm install

Building and Running

  1. Run Express.js server

    npm run start:server
  2. Start Vite development server

    npm run dev
  3. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to access the calculator.

Usage

Simply enter the numbers and select the operation you want to perform from the dropdown menu. The result will be displayed instantly.
