nerdtree-execute's Issues

Plain linux opener

In a Linux system it just handles Gnome or KDE desktop environments.

The fallback should be xdg-open, a desktop-independent tool for configuring the default applications of a user.

It's available in almost all Linux systems.

Execute Problem Windows

System Windows 7 32bit
gvim 7.4

If i execute an file or folder the windows explorer always opens with the folder:
C:\Users\mkrnac\Documents

E117: Unknown function: NERDTreeAddMenuItem

Get that error after following your steps to install. I have latest NerdTree. Also, for pathogen support it would be nice to have this project inside of a nerdtree_plugin folder instead of the itself called the folder

not working on Mac OS

Doesn't seem to be working for me on Mac.
Not sure how this plugin exactly works, but on Mac - there is cli tool open which this plugin may use to open files/directories.
