A collection of code mods for the PC version of Cars: Mater-National, intended to be used alongside the Hi-Octane mod for extending the functionality of the game.
Implementing an unhandled exception handler would allow people to inspect game crashes without having a debugger attached at all times. Ideally, it would print out to the console a stack trace using both actual symbols (see Windows' SymFromAddr) and also the names of game engine functions identified through RE.
While music shuffling does work in the original X360 version of the game, the PC version oddly doesn't, as the first music selected will always loop. I personally think this should be fixed since the other THQ Cars games don't have this issue.
I don't know if this is a bug, but the game's window is at 1024x576 when according to the code it should've been 1280x720. Therefore, the whole screen gets squeezed like this. Yeah you can change the resolution via options to fix it, but the problem always happens when you boot up the game.
Since the CarsGDF.dll update, getting into exploration mode is a pain. Anytime you try to load in with the tourists added, the game would crash instantly. The only way you can play through exploration is when you delete their lines off their .aty and the game would run smoothly.
I should've added this sometime ago but I think it should be noticed by now.
I'm wanting to edit the source code, having issues using vcpkg, i got it installed, but can't seem to get the dependencies installed, help with this would be appreciated
