Why your need robots.txt?

Webpack plugin for generate-robotstxt package.

Getting Started

To begin, you'll need to install robotstxt-webpack-plugin:

npm install --save-dev robotstxt-webpack-plugin

webpack.config.js

const RobotstxtPlugin = require("robotstxt-webpack-plugin");

const options = {}; // see options below

module.exports = {
  plugins: [new RobotstxtPlugin(options)],
};

Options

filePath - (optional) path for robots.txt (should be contain full path include robots.txt file name, example - path/to/robots.txt).
General options - see generate-robotstxt options.

generate-robotstxt - api for this package.

Compatibility with Webpack 4

Webpack 4 has been released - unfortunately, with a new plug-in infrastructure. Some helpful tips on migrating plug-ins can be found in this blog post.

(I probably won't be able to find the time to get to know the new plug-in architecture and to submit a pull request, but just in case I or someone else does, I'm filing this issue so there's a place to track it.)

Any reason to why node 10 support was dropped (other than it beeing old deprecated itself)?

Error: [email protected]: The engine "node" is incompatible with this module. Expected version ">= 10.13.0". Got "8.17.0"

As the subject says, when I try to install this package using yarn, it gives an error about expected node versions. I have version 10.15 installed, and tried adding >=10.13 to my own package.json, but to no avail. For now I can get by with --ignore-engines, but do you have any idea how to fix this more permanently?
